Hi. I’m Sara. I’ve lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years, but was raised in Louisville, KY. I grew up with a mother who not only encouraged creativity, and excelled in home renovations, she also had a good eye for dumpster finds. Recently I reconnected with my love of creating - specifically upcycling furniture and wood-working.
On this journey, I discovered that just replacing knobs and/or handles can really breathe new life into an old piece. It then led me to make my own knobs and handles from premium, scrap and recycled wood. From there I got into picture holders, and now phone and tablet holders.
Each piece I create is one-of-a-kind and 100% handmade. Depending on the piece the process changes. What stays the same, through, is every piece is cut, sanded and finished by hand. All my work is created in a 10’ x 10’ tent - see above.
